Enjoy The Journey

This is another one of the amazing photos by Ana Rocha Photography.
We were at a park and she brought some props for the session and the moment my son saw the goggles, he had to put them on.
I used this on on a challenge at Flying Unicorn that was about embellishments.

There's Tim Holtz all over it. What can I do? It just screams BOY to me!!! Title and old car are TH stamps (by Michaels), compass rose is a TH mask and gears are TH embelies. I made the pin wheel and my husband made the tiny paper plane.
Paper by Prima (Sun Kiss Collection)

Pretty Butterfly

It's been a long time since I published the last page.
Sometimes life happens, and you have to go with the flow if you don't want to sink!!
Well, since I haven't sunk, I decided it was time to resume scrapping and doing other things in between.
I decided to go back to the WONDERFUL photo session we had with Ana Rocha (from Ana Rocha Photography) last year and scrap the amazing pictures she took of our family.

I made this one inspired by a challenge on Flying Unicorn that wanted projects with black accents.

The big butterfly I made using an acetate as a stencil, and the image was cut from the Home Accents cartridge (Cricut); the pink and black roses are hand made using  Spellbinders Rose Creations. The frame, tiny black butterfly and flourish are also from the Home Accents cartridge.

A close up. The pink and black butterfly (that I've used in other L/Os before) was made using Spellbinders Wonderful Wings.

I misted the rose with Glimmer Mist (Vanilla)

It was plain and simple, but it was great to go back to scrapping. I'll try and take more risks in the future with mixed media.

Cheers!!
